As I mentioned yesterday, the 2007 SoulForce Equality Ride has hit the road on their second tour of the nation’s most bigoted colleges & universities. My colleague and friend, Matt Hill Comer is among the participants of the EAST bus. Before leaving their rally point, Matt & his co-participants learned that their bus had broken down. SoulForce quickly secured an alternative bus (without all the decals of course).
Last night, as the riders slept in their hotel, the temporary bus the group is using was spray painted with hateful & bigoted remarks. Matt posted pictures this morning of the act of hatred towards the Equality Ride.
Before the group could reach their first stop, someone has already reacted in an evil manner. This act may speak volumes to the spiritual fight the group is waging against the evil of division & bigotry. Nonetheless, this act shows the need for OUR support of this important project.
As many of you are aware, last year’s Equality Ride bus was ridden with hate words during it’s stop in Cleveland, TN at the Church of God’s Lee University. The unique component of last year’s incident, students from Lee University helped the Equality Riders clean the hate off the side of the bus.

Sioux County is in dire need of moral upgrading. Their homeland of The Netherlands is amazingly liberal. Perhaps just a tall electrified fence to keep them away from the rest of us. But who gets to decide on the proper voltage?
